College: Young walk-on fullback returns for second season... listed No. 1 on depth chart at position...low build to the ground allows him to be effective in short-yardage situations and blocking...also could be utilized on special teams... in 2011, gained playing time at fullback, playing in 10 games... did receive five carries on season, including four against Central State.

High School: Played running back for Terry Anderson at Overton High School...presented Hume and Nick Coutras Awards along with National Football Foundation Award.

Personal: Business finance major...two-time member of Dean's List and Athletics Director's Honor Roll... member of National Honor Society in high school...graduated with honors diploma...son of Kevin and Roberta Montgomery... born Oct. 12, 1992...age 19...turns 20 day before Govs play at Eastern Kentucky.
