High School: Played on the defensive line for head coach Lenny Jankowski at Vero Beach High School… Totaled 126 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, and 8.0 sacks throughout his prep career… Was named a top five defensive lineman in the Florida High School Athletic Association by the Treasure Coast News during both his junior and senior seasons… Had 42 tackles, including 21 solo stops, 11.5 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, five pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery during his senior season, while helping to lead the Indians to an 8-4 record and 3-0 mark in 7A District 11 play… Had a career-best 47 tackles and 11.5 tackles for loss as a junior, in addition to one fumble recovery and two pass breakups… Totaled 37 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and three pass breakups as a sophomore... Also participated in track and field for the Indians.
