In 2011 was credited with four double-digit tackles performances...also ended second on team in interceptions...forced two fumbles and collected another...came up big in both home wins against Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee State with identical 11-tackle performances (seven unassisted tackles and four assists)...named OVC Defensive Player of the Week for his effort against EKU that also included fourth-quarter interception at the APSU four-yard line...week later it was his forced fumble with 2:21 left against TSU that secured the Govs' second straight win...also had 10 tackles against Jacksonville State that included season-best eight solo stops...wrapped up junior campaign with APSU's single-best 14-tackle effort against Tennessee Tech...played only briefly against Central State but came away with interception and 23-yard return...had two break ups to go with nine stop against Murray State... as redshirt sophomore in 2010 tied with Darrick Dillard for tackle lead (84)... had team-best 58 solo tackles... also blocked kick... made eight or more tackles in six games...had 10 or more tackles twice... recorded Govs' single-game high 17 tackles against Southeast Missouri, including 13 solo stops... he was first Govs player to have more than 16 tackles since 2007...had 10 tackles against UT Martin, including 1.5 tackles-for-loss...had nine tackles and forced a fumble at Jacksonville State... also had nine tackles against Tennessee Tech and at Middle Tennessee...led Govs with eight tackles at Wisconsin... entered 2009 season listed at strong safety, but after injuries depleted secondary, spent much of season at cornerback... also performed well on special teams in kickoff and punt coverage... had 21 tackles, including 12 solo stops... had six special teams stops, tied for third best on team... season's only interception, which he returned for 28 yards, thwarted Southeast Missouri's final drive... recovered two fumbles...first came in the fourth quarter against Eastern Kentucky... also recovered a fumble on a kickoff against Tennessee State that led to an APSU field goal...redshirted in 2008.
