College: Listed No. 1 on depth chart at defensive end... has good speed on end, making a good run stopper... played in 11 games in 2009... made 14 tackles, including 12 against the rush... also had two quarterback sacks... made a four-yard sack in season-opener against Newberry... only tackle against Murray State was a quarterback sack...played in all 11 games in 2008...was credited with at least one tackle in six games...shifted to defensive end during 2008 season and remained there during following spring...made strides in transformation...played sparingly in seven games as freshman linebacker and end...recorded three tackles, including two initial hits... has good size and strength with linebacker speed...High School: Two-time All-Western Kentucky linebacker...tallied 101.5 tackles as senior, including 39 solo stops...recorded 12 tackles for loss...voted team's Outstanding Defensive Award...Personal: Health and human performance/health care management major...son of Benjamin Collins Sr. and Ateasa Collins...born Sept. 17, 1989....turns 21 day before Tennessee State game.
