Athletic Director's Honor Roll (S18, S21, F21)
2021 (Graduate Student): Started nine games at right guard for the Governors during the 2021 season… Recovered a fumble before rumbling for 17 yards against Tennessee State (Oct. 3)… Named second team All-OVC for the second-straight season after helping lead the Governors’ offense to an OVC-best 32.5 points and 420.3 yards per game.
2020-2021 (Redshirt Junior): Played in eight games, starting all six OVC contests at guard, during the 2020-2021 season... One of four Austin Peay offensive linemen selected to All-OVC teams following a season in which the team led the OVC with 29.7 points per game in the spring.
2019 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in seven games, and picked up his career’s first start in the FCS Playoffs at Sacramento State (Dec. 7)… made his first career tackle on special teams against Montana State (Dec. 13)… appeared primarily as an extra blocker in the Govs running game, which set the program record in rushing touchdowns (34) and ranked third in rushing yards (2,694).
2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action four times during the season: against Georgia, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and Eastern Illinois.
2017 (Freshman): Did not see action, redshirted.
High School: Three-year letter winner at Scott County High School… Started in 39 straight games at center… Led his team to three straight district titles and one regional championship… Named first team all-state and all-district his junior and senior seasons… Named district player of the year… Two-star ranking from 247sports.com… Ranked the 53rd center prospect in the country… Ranked the 23rd prospect in the state of Kentucky.
Personal: Colby Palmer McKee is the son of Jim and Sherri Beth Mullannix… Has two siblings, Clay and Cade… Birthday is June 30… father, Jim, played football at Centre College… Brother Clay was a quarterback at Georgetown College (2015-17)… Earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science in May 2021… Pursuing a master’s degree in general communication at Austin Peay.
