High School: Played both sides of the ball at Clarksville Academy under head coach John Crosby, serving as a safety and running back... In his senior season, he totaled 45 tackles, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, and two tackles for loss... Offensively, he recorded 887 rushing yards on 86 carried and six touchdowns on the ground... Also hauled in 18 receptions for 253 yards and a pair of receiving touchdowns... Was named a TNFCA All-Defensive Team selection in addition to receiving First Team All-Region as a safety and Second Team All-County honors as a running back by Main Street Preps.
