AD’s Honor Roll (S18)

2018 (Senior): After starting all 11 games as a senior, recorded a start in all 23 career games as a Governor… finished fourth on the team with 7.0 tackles for loss, notching at least 0.5 TFL in eight consecutive games… recorded his first-career sack at Morehead State (Sept. 15) and picked up a second against Tennessee State (Oct. 6)… finished the season with 25 total stops, including back-to-back games with four tackles against TSU and at Southeast Missouri (Oct. 13)… deflected a pass at the line of scrimmage against Eastern Illinois (Nov. 10).

2017 (Junior): Started all 12 games in his first year on campus at Austin Peay... finished the year with 33 total tackles, including four tackles for loss... registered a season-high five tackles – including one TFL – against Morehead State (Sept. 16)... matched that mark two weeks later with five stops against UT Martin.

Prior to Austin Peay: Helped Northwest Mississippi to its first conference championship since 1999, earning MACJC All-State honors and league defensive Most Valuable Player in 2015… recorded 25 tackles (7.0 for loss) and two sacks, while adding nine quarterback hurries… the previous season, finished fifth on the team with 44 tackles, including 10.5 for loss and four sacks… Played for head coach Tony Stanford at Columbus High School...was named to the WCBI All-End Zone Second Team...also a two-time all-state and all-region selection...played in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game.

Personal: Son of Misty and Bertram Brown… has one younger sister (Tamber)… born June 8… majoring in health and human performance.
