Dean’s List (F18)
2018 (Senior): Started all 11 games at wide receiver and became the go-to guy out wide… became just the fourth Governor to hit double-digit receiving touchdowns in a season and is tied for third all-time at APSU with 10… caught 42 passes for 797 yards – an 18.98 yards per catch average that led the OVC… led the Govs with 60 points scored on the season… set a career high with 10 receptions against Presbyterian (Sept. 8) that went for 114 yards… caught seven passes for a career-high 165 yards and a score at Eastern Illinois (Nov. 10)… he became the first Gov to go over 150 receiving yards in a game since 2006… caught four passes for 111 yards and a career-best three touchdowns against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 27)… had five catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns against Jacksonville State (Sept. 29)… finished the season with three catches for 49 yards and two touchdowns against Murray State (Nov. 17)… led the Govs with 16 offensive plays of 20 yards or more.
2017 (Junior): Appeared in all 12 games on the season, starting 10... finished second on the team in receptions (19) and receiving yards (228), and tied for the team lead with three receiving touchdowns... caught a season-high five passes for 54 yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville State (Oct. 7)... got involved in the running game at the end of the year, recording four carries for 27 yards over the last four games.
Prior to Austin Peay: Led Holmes Community College to a No. 13 ranking in NJCAA and a MACJC State Championship... Had a team high 36 receptions for 991 yards and 10 touchdowns his sophomore year... Averaged 27.5 yards per game... Caught 11 passes for 291 yards and two touchdowns his freshman year... Named the Graphic Edge Bowl most valuable offensive player... Named first team all-state from the MACJC... Rated a three-star JuCo prospect by 247sports.com... The 157th ranked JuCo prospect in the country and the 19th JuCo WR in the country.
High School: Letter winner at Madison Central High School... Caught 12 passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns his senior season... Also played basketball.
Personal: Son of Dewery and Carolina Montgomery... Siblings Tamika, Reginald, Tracey, Angelia, Trena... Plans to be a physical therapist.
