College: Undersized running back who will continue to provide depth at running back…  made one start in eight appearances in 2012… rushed for 228 yards on 33 carries, including three touchdowns… ran for 16 yards on eight carries against Western Kentucky in the season opener… was limited for the next five games before leading the Govs with 52 yards on 10 carries against Eastern Kentucky… ran for 112 yards on eight carries against Culver-Stockton, including touchdown jaunts of 20 and 14 yards in the first quarter… ran six times for 39 yards and a touchdown in the season finale against Tennessee Tech, also returning a kick 23 yards. enters fall No. 2 on depth chart behind Wes Kitts… plays low to the ground and has good center of gravity… owns great speed and ability to cut hard… change-of-pace back who has game-breaking abilities…  likened to former standout running back/kick returner Terrence Holt due to his size… could be considered for kickoff or punt return duties… in 2011, gained increased playing time as season progressed… saw first action against Eastern Kentucky… rushed for 39 yards on seven carries against UT  Martin… had 16 yards on four carries against Jacksonville State…  scored career’s first touchdown against Central State with 29-yard run… finished game with 12 rushes for 82 yards… ran for 19 yards following week against Murray State… in 2010, used redshirt season to increase strength and add bulk to frame… had good spring practice… rushing for 185 yards and a touchdown during three spring scrimmages.

High School: Rushed for school-record 4,910 yards, including 1,755 as senior...also scored 35 career TDs...as senior named All-State and Gwinnett County Athletc of the Year...played in North-South All-Star game...ranked fifth in state in rushing as junior with 1951 yards.

Personal: Health and human performance major…  son of Akida Garcia and Ean Pemberton…  born Sept. 22, 1991..age 21… turns 22 day after Govs play at Ohio.
