Previously: Linebacker at Harding Academy under Ryan Derrick… totaled 201 tackles (13 for loss) along with nine forced fumbles, six sacks and nine pass break-ups during his junior and senior seasons… made 112 stops in his junior year alone… all-conference as a junior and senior… Commercial Appeal Best of Preps all-metro team.

Personal: Son of Keith and Latricia Thomas… has one brother, Keith… born Aug. 22… plans to major in communications and hopes to become a sports broadcaster.
