2021 (Graduate Student): Played in nine games, making three starts at linebacker… Made first collegiate start in four-tackle performance against Morehead State (Sept. 8)… Recorded a career-high six tackles against Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 25)… Had two solo stops against Tennessee State (Oct. 2)… Finished the season with 14 tackles.
2020-2021 (Redshirt Junior): Saw an increased roll during the 2020-2021 season, appearing in all nine contests... Made his first collegiate tackle against Pittsburgh (Sept. 12)... Had a pair of tackles in each of the Governors’ final three games of the season and picked up his career’s first tackle for loss in the season finale against No. 13 Murray State (April 3)… Finished the season with seven total tackles.
2019 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in a pair of games.
2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not see action.
2017 (Freshman): Did not see action, redshirted.
High School: Brother of one of 2016’s most prolific tacklers joined the squad in 2017… two-time all-county linebacker for Shaun Hollingsworth at Station Camp High School… also ran track, in addition to earning linebacking MVP.
Personal: Thomas Hunter Scholato is the son of Susan Scholato… has two brothers: Pierce and Gunnar… Birthday is Oct. 17… brother Gunnar was a linebacker for the Governors (2015-18)… Earned a bachelor’s degree in management in May 2021… Pursuing a master’s degree in secondary education at Austin Peay.
