College: Moved to center in spring...brings 15 games of starting experience to Govs offensive line...a skilled technician with good footwork... smart player...for second-straight year was part of line that ranked in Top 15 in permitting fewest sacks...in 2010, Govs offensive line was ranked ninth nationally and last season 13th, allowing just nine in 11 games....will be given opportunity to replace three-year starter Tim Schmid...was second position move in two years...moved to left guard in Spring 2011...started all 11 games at guard in 2011...in 2010, split time with Chris Hartman on the right side a year ago, helping line drops its sack total from 21 in 2009 to just nine in 2010...saw action in all 11 games during 2010... moved to right side in 2010 after playing in five games at left guard in 2009 ... used offseason to add strength and bulk to frame... spent freshman season adjusting to college game while gaining valuable on-field experience...played behind Kelvin Little at guard... developed holes for Govs backfield to gain 325 yards rushing and three rushing scores at Southeast Missouri.

High School: Played offensive tackle for Steve Lovelace at Christian County High School...named first-team Associated Press and Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) All-State...also picked third-team Louisville Courier-Journal All-State...chosen first-team All-Western Kentucky Conference...named to Kentucky New Era Gridiron Team...chosen to KHSAA All Academic Team (3.5 or above GPA).

Personal: Biology major...son of Shawn and Ricky Langston...born Nov. 3, 1990...age 21...will turn 22 same day Govs play Culver-Stockton.
