2022: Played in 10 games and made four starts at wide receiver… Caught a one-yard touchdown pass and a 13-yard touchdown pass against Presbyterian (Sept. 3) – his first touchdown receptions as a Governor… Had one catch for 13 yards against Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 24)… Made four catches for 36 yards against Central Arkansas (Oct. 1) – both were his best marks as a Gov… Recorded three receptions for 23 yards against Murray State (Oct. 15)… Had one grab for a season-long 27 yards against Jacksonville State (Oct. 29)… Had multiple receptions for the fourth time in 2022 when he made two catches for 18 yards against Kennesaw State (Nov. 12)… Finished the season with 16 receptions for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
2021: Saw action in four games during first season in Clarksville after transferring from Wagner… Caught a pass for 13 yards at Ole Miss (Sept. 11)… Hauled in a 43-yard reception against Morehead State (Sept. 18)… Recorded a season-high three receptions for 35 yards against Tennessee State (Oct. 2)… Finished the season with six receptions for 107 yards.
Prior to Austin Peay: A transfer from Wagner where he was named First Team Preseason All-Northeastern Conference in 2020… Played in 12 games during his junior campaign, finished the season with a team-high 675 receiving yards and six touchdowns… Caught 16 passes for 215 yards as a sophomore, including a season-high eight catches for 89 yards against Syracuse (Sept. 8, 2018) in the Carrier Dome... Hauled in two passes for 22 yards as a freshman… Did not play during the 2021 spring season.
High School: Prepped at Curtis High School in Staten Island, New York where he played wide receiver and safety… Named to the 2016 Staten Island Advance All-Star team as an all-purpose performer after hauling in 19 receptions for 455 yards and five touchdowns as a senior and also intercepting five passes… Named to the 2017 Empire Challenge All-Star Game.
Personal: Joshua Michael DeCambre is the son of Cary Peck and Daniel Ewing… Birthday is July 29… Has two siblings: Dennis and Duane… Pursuing a master’s degree in strategic leadership at Austin Peay.
