College: Will battle for starting spot in final Govs season...opened 2008 as guard starter but injured knee at North Dakota State...missed the next month before returning Sept. 20 against UT Martin...second straight season that has been hampered by knee problems...knee injury ended his 2007 season after just five games...earned starting spot at guard as redshirt sophomore...was productive performer before injury...rejoined team as starter during spring with no lingering effects from injury...reclaimed starting right guard slot..strong 2007 camp allowed him to move ahead of incumbent Matt Lawson...appeared in six games as  reserve guard as redshirt freshman...with thin offensive line numbers in Spring 2006, gained plenty of experience...High School:  Center and defensive tackle for Greg Mantooth at Franklin County High School...named all-region...team captain...also named MVP of offensive line...Personal: Interdisciplinary studies major...four-time member of Athletics Director’s Honor roll, including a trio of semesters on Dean’s List (3.5 GPA)...son of Jamie and Gina Cunningham...born Sept. 25, 1986...age 22...turns 23 day before Govs play Eastern Kentucky.
