Athletics Director's Honor Roll (F22, S23)

2022: Played in three games… Made a tackle against Presbyterian (Sept. 3) in his Austin Peay debut.

Prior to Austin Peay: Spent the spring of 2021 at LSU after transferring from Jacksonville following the disbanding of the Dolphins’ football program at the end of the 2019 season... Saw action in the Tigers’ spring game before transferring to Austin Peay for the 2022 season.

High School: Prepped at Atlantic Coast High School under head coach Mike Montemayor... Recorded 19 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in seven games during his senior season... Also competed in track & field for the Stingrays.

Personal: Kai Daniel Hedgemon is the son of Marc Hedgemon and Shanney Scott… Birthday is Aug. 21… Has five siblings: Kerianne, Kandice, Aaron, Todd, and Marc Jr… A general studies major with a survey of humanities concentration.
