Prior to Austin Peay: Spent two seasons at Wake Forest… Named Second Team All-State, First Team All-Region and First Team All-District during his junior season at Lord Botetourt High School… Finished his junior season with 20.0 sacks, eight forced fumbles, two blocked punts and a defensive touchdown… Led Lord Botetourt High School to a 9-3 record and a playoff berth during his senior season… During his junior season he led Lord Botetourt High School to an 11-2 record and to the Virginia 3D Regional Championship game. 

Personal: Kendal Zayne Howard is the son of Eugene and Amber Howard… Birthday is Dec. 8… Has two brothers, Kingston and Keon... Pursuing a bachelor's degree in education.
