College: Could step into starter’s role at wide receive spot vacated by Emmanuel Yancey...started three games as junior...his 20 catches ranked fourth on team...came up huge against Dayton, catching six passes for 110 yards, including career-long 40 yarder...also had three catches against UT Martin and Charleston...caught season’s only TD pass against Charleston...transferred to APSU in 2005 ago after attending Volunteer State Community College...took some time to shake rust off after not having played football for two years...caught seven passes for 79 yards that season...only TD reception was 26 yarder against Valparaiso...High School: Played wide receiver and defensive back for Bob Ateca at Clarksville High School...also ran track in high school...Personal: Business management major...son of Regina Butler...born Sept. 11, 1984...age 22 (will turn 23 Tuesday before Tennessee State game.
