Biography

2018 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in 10 games on the season, primarily on special teams… racked up four total tackles on the season, with a season-high two coming against Morehead State (Sept. 15).

2017 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in 11 games as a reserve linebacker for the Govs... most impressive performance came against Morehead State, where he notched three tackles, including 0.5 tackle for loss, and blocked an extra point attempt.

2016 (Freshman): Redshirt

High School: Played quarterback for Phil Marino at Columbus High School... also lettered in basketball and track.

Personal: Son of Derrick and Jerita James... has two brothers, Corey and Jalen... born Oct. 16.
