College: All-OVC candidate hopes to regain sophomore form...although receiving numbers were down from previous season, still led Govs in receiving in 2007 with 33 catches for 550 yards and four TDs...ended season with best performance--six receptions for 136 yards against Murray State...opened season with four-catch, two-TD performance against Bethel...also had five catches for 91 yards against UT Martin...emerged in 2006 as sophomore...shattered 37-year-old record by catching school-record 77 passes...broke mark (67) held by APSU Hall of Famer Harold “Red” Roberts...his 7.0 receptions per game ranked fifth best in I-AA...also set APSU mark with 1101 receiving yards...his 100.09 yards per game ranked third in nation...tallied five games with 100 or more receiving yards, including 153 on eight catches against Cumberland...also had 146 yards receiving against The Cumberlands...caught season-best two TD passes at Dayton while catching eight balls for 124 yards...hauled in career-best 11 passes (102 yards) in season finale  at Western Kentucky...caught five or more passes in all but one game...had season-low four receptions in rainy conditions at Morehead State...has ability to get open but also get deep...has markedly improved catching ability...standout sophomore season came after strong spring...was third on team in receptions as freshman...led team with two TD catches...caught season-long 72-yard score at Morehead State...High School:  Played wide receiver, free safety and cornerback for Jim Snider at Clarksville High School...earned All-State, all-mid state and Shoney’s mid-state honors as senior...also selected to all-area and all-region teams...selected as team’s offensive MVP...Personal: Health care management major...son of Clifford and Linda Frederick...born July 11, 1986...age 22.
