2023: Played in one game off the bench on the offensive line… Made his collegiate debut at Lindenwood (Sept. 30)… Blocked for an offense that posted 690 yards of total offense – the third-best single game in APSU history – with 420 passing yards – the fourth-best game in program history – against Lindenwood.

High School: An offensive lineman, defensive lineman, punter, and kicker for coach Gary Duggar at Lenior City High School… An All-Region 3-AAAAA offensive lineman in 2022 after helping the Panthers rush for 2,651 yards while recording 37 pancake blocks… Added 18 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery, and an interception during his senior season… Punted 26 times with a 35.5-yard average, four punts downed inside the 20-yard line, and a long of 51 yards in 2022, also went 17-for-19 on PATs and 3-for-4 on field goals with a long of 47 yards… An All-Region 3-AAAAA punter and All-5Star Preps offensive lineman selection in 2021… Also played goalkeeper on the Lenior City soccer team.

Personal: Jose Leonardo Gonzalez is the son of Hannah Gonzalez… Birthday is Nov. 23… Has three siblings: Ethan, Emma, and Bella… A leadership science major with a concentration in leading organizations.
