Prior to Austin Peay: Played 14 games across four seasons at Central Michigan… Played eight games in 2025 for the Chippewas, finishing with five tackles… Earned a medical redshirt in 2023… Also played 9 games at Hocking (Ohio) College in 2021… Four-year letterman at Woodward (Ohio) High School for Kali Jones… Two-time second-team All-State performer.  

Personal: Malik Denkins is the son of Crisanta Denkins… Birthday is Oct. 16… Has three siblings: Tupac, Diamond and Crystal... Pursuing a master's degree in health and human performance.
