College: Enters fall for second straight year listed No. 2 on depth chart at cornerback behind Kevis Buckley... has provided solid relief at both corner and safety during his career...played in all 11 games as a reserve... finished with eight tackles...assisted on three stops in season opener at North Dakota State...had two tackles at Jacksonville State...one of fastest Govs on team...as a sophomore, credited with three tackles in reserve role against Jacksonville State and two more the next game at Samford...blocked kick in season opener against Bethel...finished 2006 season as starter at free safety...enjoyed perhaps best game against The Cumberlands, being credited with five tackles, including one for loss, and picking off his only interception...also had season-best nine tackles against North Greenville...sat out 2005 as redshirt...High School: Played wide receiver and cornerback from Robert Lassiter at Gallatin High School...earned all-county honors as senior...named coaches award recipient...also earned all-county for track...Personal: Political science major...member of Athletics Director’s Honor Roll both semesters last year...son of Marva Malone...born March 25, 1986...age 23.
