Prior to Austin Peay: Spent two seasons at Carson-Newman (2021-22), but did not see action for the Eagles.
High School: A Clarksville native, Corley attended Home Life Academy where he threw for 3,396 yards and 36 touchdowns in his prep career… Also added 455 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground for the Flames… Was named a National Home School Association National All-Star and competed in the 2019 Gatlinburg All-American Bowl, where he was named his team’s offensive MVP… Was a four-year honor roll member.
Personal: Matthew Tate Corley is the son of Jeremy and Kelley Corley… Birthday is April 27… Has four siblings: Caleb, Andrew, Ethan, and Olivia… Mother, Kelley, was on Austin Peay’s cheer and dance teams… A management major with a minor in finance.
