College: Played in all 12 games for the Govs’ in 2013… Top 10 in Govs’ tackle list for season with 48 stops… had two tackles and two kick returns for 50 yards in season opener at Tennessee… had at least one tackle in all 12 games with a season-high eight tackles at Chattanooga… also had two kick returns for 46 yards against the Mocs… forced a fumble and had seven tackles against Ohio… had another seven-tackle game and added lone interception of the year against UT Martin… ended 2012 in starting lineup… started final six games while appearing in all 11 contests… made 37 total tackles, including 24 solo stops, and broke up three passes throughout the season… added return-game duties as season progressed… after making two or fewer tackles in his first three games, had seven-tackle (six solo) effort against UT Martin, including a 38-yard interception return… earned first start against Eastern Illinois the following week, breaking up one pass… made seven tackles (four solo) against Murray State… tallied season-high eight tackles against Southeast Missouri, and also returned four kicks for 112 yards (28 yards per return), including a 37-yarder… in 2011, opened season with tackle for loss against Cincinnati… recorded season-high four tackles, including three solo stops against UT Martin… also had solo stop against both Murray State and Tennessee Tech.
High School: Played defensive back for Shawn Rainey at Hoover High School… 2010 Alabama Sports Writers Association honorable Mention… 2010 Hoover All-Metro Team… In 2010, had 35 tackles and six interceptions, four in the state playoffs.
