Prior to Austin Peay: Began his collegiate career at Robert Morris (2022) before transferring to Division II West Virginia Wesleyan (2023) and Morehead State (2024). 2024: Appeared in 12 games for the Eagles as a redshirt sophomore… Was an All-Pioneer Football League Honorable Mention… Had one catch for a 63-yard touchdown and returned two punts for 70 yards with a 56-yard punt-return touchdown against Kentucky Christian (Sept. 7)... Had two catches for 75 yards with a 25-yard touchdown grab against Valparaiso (Sept. 28)... Added four catches for 89 yards at Butler (Oct. 5)... Had nine receptions for 212 yards with an 88-yard touchdown catch against Dayton (Oct. 26), his 212 receving yards were the ninth-best single-game total in the FCS and the best in the PFL... Posted four catches for 90 yards and a touchdown against St. Thomas (MN) (Nov. 2)... Caught six passes for 124 yards and a touchdown – his third-straight game with a touchdown reception – at Davidson (Nov. 9)... High School: Played wide receiver for head coach Kyle Sasser at Auburndale High School… Had 729 receiving yards and six touchdowns as a senior… Caught 13 passes for 181 yards and four touchdowns during his junior year.

Personal: Nathaniel Garnett Jr. is the son of Nathaniel Garnett and Simone and Billy Williams... Birthday is Nov. 1... A leadership science major with a concentration in leading people.
