Biography

College: Will attempt to gain more playing in final Govs season....appeared in all 11 games as junior at wide receiver but caught only only one pass...also was effective special team performer with three stops...in third season as wide receiver after playing freshman season as defensive back...endured injury-plagued 2006 season...suffered ankle injury early in season and struggled recovering from it, although he didn’t miss any games...opened season as starter...finished tied for fifth on team in receptions...had five catches after two games but caught just six in season’s remainder...caught his only TD pass, an 18 yarder, at Cumberland...switched to wide receiver midway through 2006 spring practice...started much of 2005 at cornerback position...opened season as starter, making nine tackles against Charleston...next week picked off two passes against Cumberland...finished with team-best four picks for the season...High School:  Wide receiver and defensive back for Charles Gregory at Centennial High School...earned all-region as senior...Personal: Comunications media technology major...member of Athletics Director’s Honor Roll in spring...son of German and Valerie Meggs III...born Jan. 1, 1987...age 21.
