College: Played in all 12 games in 2013 after walking on previous spring… had season-high six tackles with two for a loss in opener against Tennessee… had two games with four tackles against Ohio and Murray State… had three tackles at Eastern Kentucky… walk-on joined team in Winter 2013… had productive spring and earned spot on depth chart.

High School: Linebacker and defensive end for Lenny Gregory at Grayson High School… was prep teammate of former Gov Ean Pemberton.

Personal: Interdisciplinary studies major… son of Charles and Sylvia Lartey… born May 10… first name is pronounced ‘knee’
