Biography

College: Injuries continue to plague big tackle...suffered ankle fracture in late September 2011 and missed season's remainder...also incurred concussion during Spring 2012...will battle for playing time this fall as reserve at both tackle spots...was one of Govs most improved players in Spring 2011...in 2010, played in only five games...made first 2010 appearance in Week 7 against Jacksonville State and saw time in each of the following games...challenged for starting role after redshirting in 2009...although was available to play if injuries occurred, was able to use season to increase quickness and strength while learning APSU system...backed up Tyler Trent and James Barker as freshman.

High School: Played defensive and offensive line for Ralph Nelson at Sullivan East High School where he was a three-year starter...chosen All-East Tennessee along with All-Mountain Lake Conference...played in 2009 Border Bowl Game (Tennessee vs. Kentucky)...also standout in track in shot and discus.

Personal: Business major... two-time member of Athletics Director's Honor Roll...son of Paul Frye...born Feb. 22, 1991... age 21.
