Biography

College: Began his first regular season game in the Virginia Tech Hokies game creating an assisted tackle for that night. Big-bodied tight-end/H-back candidate... again listed No. 1 on depth chart at tight end entering final Govs season... hand-nosed performer... one of Govs leaders...in 2011, caught career-best seven passes for 40 yards...caught passes in four straight games early in season... caught two passes for 24 yards against Southeast Missouri, , both 12-yard receptions...played in eight games during 2010... again will be utilized in short-yardage and goal-line situations... had one catch out of backfield, for 22 yards, at Wisconsin... also plays on special teams... made a punt return tackle at Jacksonville State... played in 10 games in 2009... made two catches for nine yards against Newberry... redshirted initial APSU season... used redshirt year to learn APSU system and add bulk in Govs weight room.

Business international management major... four-time member of Athletics Director's Honor Roll... son of Chuck and Mitzi Rouse... born Feb.1, 1990... age 22. Outside linebacker and running back for Brad Taylor at Bearden High School... earned all-region... helped lead Bearden to state semifinals... team captain finished with 102 tackles, including 10 for losses... offensively, averaged more than seven yards per carry in limited play at tailback.
