Austin Peay State University Athletics

Cordova joins the Austin Peay staff as a defensive quality control coach in 2022.

The Perry, Ohio native joins the Governors after two seasons as an assistant coach at Ohio Northern where he helped with the Polar Bears’ defensive backs. Cordova began his coaching career at Rockey River High School in Ohio where he was an assistant for four seasons (2015-18). He began his collegiate coaching career at Wooster as an assistant in 2019 where he coached for one season before joining the ONU staff.

A three-year letterwinner as a strong safety at Baldwin Wallace, Cordova earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2015.
