Nick Hunter joins the Governors coaching staff as a graduate assistant after completing his playing career at Christopher Newport.

A wide receiver at Christopher Newport, he caught 33 passes for 428 yards and completed all six of his pass attempts for four touchdowns during his career. He then joined the CNU coaching staff as safeties coach in Spring 2020 before joining the APSU coaching staff. 

A Yorktown, Virginia native, Hunter graduated from Christopher Newport with a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in cellular molecular and physiology in 2020.
