Austin Peay State University Athletics

Spencer Grubbs joins the Austin Peay football staff as the Director of Recruiting after spending the previous two seasons in the same role at Old Dominion.

Grubbs was instrumental in the Monarchs signing the highest-rated recruiting class in school history, which paid off as they upset Virginia Tech in 2018.

Prior to his time at ODU, Grubbs was a recruiting assistant at Tennessee for four seasons (2013-17). The Volunteers won the Outback, TaxSlayer and Music City Bowls during that span.

Grubbs graduated from Tennessee in 2017.
