Prior to Austin Peay: Played on the offensive and defensive for head coach Michael Booker at West Creek High School… Was a 7-6A All-Region selection as a senior… Totaled 125 tackles, 10 sacks, three fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble in his prep career. Also wrestled and competed in track & field at WCHS… Had an 18-12 wrestling record while competing in the 190 and 215-pound weight classes.

Personal: Stephen Kpelafiya is the son of Aboubakar and Oyemi... Has two siblings, Kevin, and Abdou... Born Oct. 25... Pursing a degree in university studies.
