College: Will challenge for wide receiver playing time in final Govs' season...also considered prime candidate for punt returner... In game against Culver-Stockton had season high 5 punt returns for 75 yards...In Tennessee State contest had a season high 3 receptions for 28 yards...after transferring from Western Arizona Junior College late during summer, took time becoming acclimated to Govs' system...prior to playing at Western Arizona in 2010, spent two seasons at Tusculum...after redshirting in 2008 was used primarliy as punt returner in 2009, returning four kicks for 75 yards. 

High School:  Played wide receiver and defensive back for George Quarles at Maryville High School... member of four 4A TSSAA State titles (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007) that totaled a 60-0 record... earned all-county, all-region and All-State honors in 2007 along with first-team Prep-Xtra... posted 51 receptions for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2007... also accounted for six interceptions on defense and returned two punts for scores... lettered four times in football and once in basketball... member of 2007 State championship basketball team... also lettered in track four times.
