As a freshman: Made six appearances as a freshman, contributing 25 total tackles... made three stops in his APSU debut at Troy, Sept. 3... had six tackles and a forced fumble againstennessee Tech, Sept. 9... career-best seven tackles, including a shared tackle for loss, at Southeast Missouri, Oct. 29... capped his freshman campaign with six tackles against Eastern Kentucky, Nov. 12.

Prior to Austin Peay: State champion for Joey King at Cartersville High School... two-time all-county, all-region and all-state linebacker... region Defensive Player of the Year as a senior... also played basketball.

Personal: Son of Melissa Mitchell... has two siblings, Josh and Dylan... born Nov. 14... plans to major in criminal justice.
