2018 (Junior): Reserve linebacker saw the field in nine games on the season, primarily as a special teamer… stepped in at weakside linebacker at Eastern Illinois (Nov. 10) and racked up seven tackles – including 2.0 for loss – and a quarterback hurry.

2017 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games in his second season on campus... tallied 15 total tackles on the year... recorded three unassisted tackles against UCF (Oct. 28)... registered three total tackles at Miami University (Sept. 9).

2016 (Freshman): Made four appearances, registering two tackles… earned first career stop at Eastern Illinois, Sept. 24… also had a tackle in the Nov. 12 contest against Eastern Kentucky.

High School: State champion for Joey King at Cartersville High School... two-time all-county, all-region and all-state at linebacker... region Defensive Player of the Year as a senior... also played basketball.

Personal: Son of Melissa Mitchell... has two siblings, Josh and Dylan... born Nov. 14... majoring in criminal justice.
