College: Shifted to strong safety from cornerback in 2012 after Antwaun Majors suffered season-ending leg injury against Tennessee State...started final six games at position... played in all 11 games in 2012, starting total of seven games… made 37 total tackles and broke up six passes…opened season with four tackles against Western Kentucky (two solo) and five against Virginia Tech (one solo)… had three tackles against Murray State, including a sack… assisted on three tackles against Culver-Stockton, including a half tackle for loss… made five tackles against Jacksonville State (all solo) and Tennessee Tech (three solo) to close out the season...in 2011regained starting spot at corner this spring that he previously owned for final eight games 2010… served as reserve and nickel back for much of 2011 season… .has improved one-on-one cover skills…as sophomore in 2011, was credited with 31 tackles, including 13 solo stops… tallied three solo stops in season opener against Cincinnati… recorded season-best six tackles, including four solo stops, versus UT Martin… had season’s only interception following week against Jacksonville State… had four stops against Central State and Tennessee Tech… in 2010 came off bench first three games before moving into starting lineup for final eight…  was secondary’s second leading tackler with 51, including 41 solo stops… had six or more tackles four times… credited with eight tackles at Wisconsin, including seven solo stops… had seven stops at Southeast Missouri… wrapped up freshman campaign with nine tackles against Eastern Kentucky, including eight unassisted stops… intercepted only pass against Eastern Illinois… forced two fumbles, one at Middle Tennessee and another against EKU… recovered fumble against UT Martin.

High School: As senior at Bowling Green High School, credited with 49 solo tackles and 16 assists...recorded two pass interceptions and five pass break ups...also caught three passes for 81 yards and returned six kickoffs for 210 yards...earned Associated Press second-team All-State.

Personal: Social work major… member of Athletics Director’s Honor Roll during spring...known by teammates as Mookie… son of Tyrone Clark and Cheryl Wells… born Sept. 3, 1992...age 20...will turn 21 Tuesday after season opener against Tennessee.
