College: Will battle for kicker duties in 2013 after serving as jack-of-all-trades in 2012…not only served as back-up kicker but also holder and back-up long snapper…appeared in all 11 games in 2012…booted first career PAT in Govs’ victory against Culver-Stockton… walk-on served as two-year back-up to Stephen Stansell as placekicker… has improved steadily since arriving… also was Stansell’s primary holder in spring… serves as back-up punter… missed only point-after attempt against Central State.

High School: Punter and placekicker for Robert Lassiter at Gallatin High School...named all-county and most valuable specialist.

Personal: Undecided on major… member of Dean’s List and Athletics Director’s Honor Roll both semesters… son of Darrell and Hollie Spears… born Oct. 13, 1992… age 20… will turn 21 three days after the Govs play Eastern Kentucky.
