In second game against Virginia Tech Kitts finished with a career best 110 yards on 22 carries... became the first Gov to rush for 100 plus yards against back to back FBS opponents... his 110 yards was an all time APSU high agianst an FBS opponent... High School: Played running back for Kevin Julian at Knoxville Halls High School... enjoyed outstanding senior season, rushing for more than 1600 yards...ran for 336 yards on 24 attempts against Knoxville West, prep home of current teammate Jake Ryan...also had two other games with 200 or more yards...named All-State, all-region and all-Knoxville Interscholastic League...also was selected four-time all-district in soccer.
