2022: Made one appearance at long snapper against Presbyterian (Sept. 3).

2021: Garnered the majority of the long snapper duties for the Governors during his freshman season, appearing in all 11 games during the 2021 campaign.

High School: Began his prep career as a long snapper and center for Thomas McDaniel at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis before transferring to be a long snapper for coach Bobby Acosta at IMG Academy… A member of the Ascender’s 2020 High School National Championship team, as awarded by MaxPreps and USA TODAY. 

Personal: James William Spain is the son of Ken and Tricia Spain… Birthday is Oct. 10… Has two siblings: Michael and Mary… A biochemistry major.
