Athletics Director's Honor Roll (S25)
2025: Appeared in 7 games, making five starts at left guard… in the starting lineup against Middle Tennessee (Aug. 30), Georgia (Sept. 6), Morehead State (Sept. 13), Abilene Christian (Sept. 20), and Central Arkansas (Nov. 8)... Saw action in a reserve role against Southern Utah (Nov. 1), and Tarleton State (Nov. 22).
Prior to Austin Peay: Began his collegiate career at Iowa Western Community College (2022-23) before transferring to Troy (2024). 2024: Did not see action during his lone season at Troy. 2023: Appeared in 10 games at right tackle, helping lead the Reivers to their second-straight NJCAA National Championship... Rated a three-star transfer and the No. 18 JUCO offensive tackle by On3.com. 2022: Redshirted and did not see action during his first collegiate season.
High School: Was an offensive lineman for head coach Brian Badke at Brother Rice High School… Named a Second Team All-State selection by the Chicago Sun-Times… Also played volleyball for the Crusaders and was an All-State middle blocker.
Personal: Zakery James Bowden is the son of Linzi Harris… Birthday is Feb. 17... Has five siblings: Chase, Delany, McKenzie, Olivia, and Haley… A psychology major.
