Biography

Shaun Duhé, who has spent three years at APSU through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), was hired as assistant athletic trainer, May 23, 2007.

Duhé joined the APSU sports medicine staff in 2004 when former head athletic trainer Chuck Kimmel began his first term as NATA president. To help with his duties while he was serving in his administrative capacity, the NATA provided APSU with a certified athletic trainer. Duhé came to APSU from Cincinnati, where he obtained his master’s degree in Health Promotion in 2004.

The Lutcher, La., native received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State in 2002. Duhé spent the previous three years as athletic trainer for Lady Govs soccer. In 2006-07, he also served as women’s basketball athletic trainer before moving over to football this spring. He will serve as APSU football’s athletic trainer, among other duties, in 2007-08.

“Shaun really has impressed us in his time here,” Loos said “It was very important for us to be able to move him into
our fulltime position. I am confident he will continue to be a tremendous asset for athletic program.”
