For 22 years he broadcast the Austin Peay football and basketball games over WJZM radio... Came to Clarksville in the spring of 1949 and became WJZM’s Sports Director... Responsible for getting the basketball broadcasts started in addition to football... Did the basketball play-by-play until 1970 and the football play-by-play until 1972, when the Governor Sports Network came into being... Originally from Spring Valley Illinois and studied radio at Columbia College in Chicago.
