2018 (Redshirt Senior): Reserve tight end appeared in 10 games for the Govs, playing mostly on special teams units.
2017 (Redshirt Junior): Saw action in 11 games, including back-to-back starts against Jacksonville State (Oct. 7) and Tennessee State (Oct. 14)... caught one pass for three yards at Miami University (Sept. 9).
2016 (Redshirt Sophomore): Made four appearances as his role continued to expand… made the most of his first career reception, hauling in a 12-yard touchdown reception against Mercer, Oct. 22.
2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not figure into the passing game in his four appearances, but seems poised for a bigger role in the future… played against Vanderbilt, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Illinois and Murray State.
2014 (Freshman): Redshirt
High School: Caught nine touchdown passes as senior, including four in one game at Salem Canton High School… finished with 1,138 career receiving yards, including 204-yard contest… tallied 16 career touchdown receptions… earned all-conference as senior after earning honorable mention as junior… also was an all-conference selection in basketball.
Personal: Graduated May 2018 with bachelors in business management… pursuing masters in strategic leadership… son of Mark and Karen Hoover… born June 23.
