2010 Season: Earned a season-best finish in the 5k, as well as his best 5k mark (17:07) at the Powerade Invitational...opened the season at the Belmont Opener with a 17:20.32 5k mark, earning a 49th-place finish...posted a personal-best 8k time at the Memphis Twilight with a 27:40.05 mark.
As a freshman in 2008: Appeared in all eight of the Govs races in his first season and had one top-30 and one top-40...season-best 26th place finish came at the Earl Jacoby Memorial, where he was 26th with a 28:27.80 mark...best time of the season in the 8K was a 27:22.67 at the Auburn Invitational.
Prep: Ran cross country for Gene Cahill at East Tennessee State University School...part of 2007 Class A/AA state champions as well as 2006 runner-up.
Personal: Son of Larry and Christine Collins...born July 5, 1990 in Johnson City, Tenn...plans to major in Computer science and information systems.
