2011-12: Competed in five tournaments during his senior campaign... Finished 41st at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, shooting three-over (72-70-77)... Capped off his career in the Triumph at Pauma Valley, finishing 51st with a 242 (78-88-76).
2010-2011: As a junior, Miller competed in three tournaments for the Governors, with six of his eight rounds counting for the Governors…he competed only in the spring…his best finish came at the OVC Championships where he fired a 144 (74-70) to finish 11th…his final round 70 was his season-low round score.
2009-10: As a sophomore, Miller competed in nine tournaments… he posted a scoring average of 80.0 and only one sub-par round… his best finish came in the rain-shortened Grub Mart-Young Oil Intercollegiate, where he shot 80-81 to finish 34th… had two counting rounds in the Ohio Valley Conference Golf Championship; a first-round 78 and final-round 79.
2008-09: As a freshman, Miller traveled to two tournaments for the Govs...his best round came at F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, where he fired a first-round 73, finishing 43rd in the field...his second appearance was at the Grub Mart-Young Oil Intercollegiate, where he finished 29th with a three-round 151...he had a .573 winning percentage to go along with a 74.8 scoring average.
High School: Shot a six-under-par 138 in the state tournament at the Old Fort Golf Course in Murfreesboro, winning a three-way playoff on the first hole, clinching the individual state title, in his final prep outing...as a senior, Miller recorded a 70.3 scoring average and was named first-team Class AAA All-State for a second time, the other coming in 2005...he was a member of The Tennessean’s All-Midstate the last three years...Miller was also a three-time Region 5-AAA champion...as a sophomore and junior, he helped lead Clarksville High to back-to-back Class AAA State Championships...in 2006-07, he qualified for the Westfield PGA Junior National
Championship in 2006 and 2007.
Personal: Business administration major...born March 14, 1990...son of John and Shannon Miller...grandfather, Johnny Miller, served as APSU Athletics Director in the early 1980s.
