Biography
2006-07: As a senior brings depth and enthusiasm to the Govs... in his third year for the Govs, Humston set career best in four different categories-all coming in his only tournament of the 2006 season... the Johnson City native fired a career-low 225 at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate at the Links of Novadell... Humston’s final-round 69, propelled him to a career-best 39th place finish.
2005-06: Competed in two tournaments as a individual... finished in 75th place as the Governors hosted the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate and t-61st at the FirstEnergy Intercollegiate held at the Firestone County Club, in Akron, Ohio... his second-round 77 tied a career-low at Firestone.
2004-05: Competed in the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate as a individual, shooting rounds of (77-77-79) for a 76th-place finish.
2003-04: Redshirted... During the summer, carded a 151 during U.S. Amateur qualifying in Florence, S.C.
High School: Played at Science Hill High School, helping lead team to TSSAA State Championship in 2001 after finishing runner-up in 2000... individually, competed twice in the Tennessee Boys Junior Amateur Championship, finishing 16th in 2000 and 12th in 2002... won the Tennessee Junior Tour Master Division State Championship for 14-15 year olds in 1999.
