2015-16: The Governors most consistent returning player for 2016-17, posting a 74.88 per-round average… had a tremendous season debut, posting a one-over 214 (68-72-74) at the Derek Dolenc Invitational, tying for 14^th… his opening-round 68 at Gateway National was his season-low… led the Govs with a three-under 213 (74-70-69) to finish tied for 18^th at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate… best spring performance was an 11-over 224 (75-76-73) at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, where he earned a share of 21^st.

2014-15: Named to OVC All-Newcomer team as a freshman...progressed steadily during the season...played in 9 of 11 tournaments..averaged 75.92 strokes per round over 26 rounds...tallied seven rounds of par or better...counter in team score 20 times...played in season-opening event at Golfweek Conference Challenge in Iowa...ended fall season with impressive 20-place finish in F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate...shot 1-under for first round and then came back with consecutive 72s to conclude event...struggled during early weeks of spring schedule but came on strong down stretch, averaging 72.1 strokes over final eight rounds played...shot par or better in four of those rounds, including 5-under 67 at OVC championships and 2-under 70 in final round of Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational...finished just outside the Top 10 (11th) in OVC championship, shooting 218.  

Prior to APSU:  Played for head coach Kent Murphy at Westerville South HS…owns the Westerville South record score of 66…first team all-conference and conference player of the year as a senior…first team all-district as a senior…also played baseball in high school.

Personal: Son of Matthew and Andrea Arens…born May 13, 1996…has one sister, Jessica…majoring in business management.
