As a senior in 2022-23: Played in a pair of tournaments and both matches for the Governors… recorded a 76.86 stroke average with four of the six rounds he played while in the lineup counting toward the team score… shot a season-low, one-over 73 in the second round of the season-opening GolfWeek Fall Challenge, where he shot a 228 (78-73-77) and finished tied for 65th… beat Murray State’s Walker Beck, 2&1, at the Battle of the Border Match Play… played as an individual and shot a five-over 77 in a stroke-play match against UT Martin at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club.
As a junior in 2021-22: Competed in three tournaments, registering nine rounds with three counting towards the Govs final score… compiled a 78.33 stroke average… had a second and third-round scoring average of 75.67… as an individual, finished tied for 38th with a score of 225 at the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational… shot a season-best 75 at the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational.
As a sophomore in 2020-21: Season’s lone appearance came at the National Intercollegiate, where he shot 232 (74-81-77) as an individual… tied for the team-high with a 3.25 stroke average on par-3 attempts.
As a freshman in 2019-20: High-ceiling freshman put together two top-20 finishes in three appearances… opened career at the Murray State Invitational with a tie for 19th, closing at 68-70 in the final two rounds… shot 232 (77-76-79) at the Skyhawk Classic… placed 18th at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, shooting 215 (75-71-69) to close with back-to-back rounds under par.
Prior to Austin Peay: A two-time all-district honoree for Mike Madden at Houston County High School... two-time Leaf-Chronicle All-Area Boys Golfer of the Year... finished in the top at the TSSAA Class-A State Championship three straight years: fourth in 2017, sixth in 2018... led the Irish to a District 9A title and Region 5A team championship in 2018 and was a state qualifier all three seasons as a high school player... a fixture on the summer youth tours in the state of Tennessee; he posted five top-10 finishes in 2018, including runner-up honors in the 54-hole Challenge at Greystone—site of Austin Peay's annual fall home tournament—and closed the fall with a win at the Nashville Junior Open in October.
Personal: Morgan Keith Robinson is the son of Erick and Kelly Robinson… has a brother, Mason… born June 16… graduated from Austin Peay in May 2023 with a bachelor’s in business management... pursuing a master’s in leadership.
