2012-13: Played in three tournaments, two coming in fall… averaged 76.3 strokes over nine rounds… fired fall-low 75 round in both the Cardinal Intercollegiate and F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate… shot season-low 72 in only spring tournament, Carter Plantation Intercollegiate… finished season-best 22nd in event with 8-over 224, his best tourney score.

2011-12: Solid contributor in his sophomore season... Never shot higher than three over par in his first five tournaments... Kicked off the fall schedule by finishing a team-high third at the UK Bluegrass Fall Invitational, shooting a three-over par 216 highlighted by a final-round season-low 67 (73-76-67)... Shot two-over at the two-round Cardinal Intercollegiate (73-73)... Shot even par on his way to a fifth-place finish at the Bearcat Invitational (74-72-70), leading the Govs to a team victory... Five-under par 211 (70-71-70) placed him sixth at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate... Shot par or better over five consecutive rounds between the Bearcat and the F&M Bank tournaments... Placed 11th out of 84 at the COG Mizzou Intercollegiate, shooting a four-over par 220 (78-70-72).

2010-2011: As a freshman, Tarpley competed in seven tournaments for the Governors…of his 20 rounds, eight counted for the Govs…his best finish came at the Triumph at Pauma Valley where he shot 229 (78-77-74) to finish 30th…he shot a season-round low of 72 in the final round of the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate.

High School: Played for Andy Gilley at Hendersonville High School… named 2008 National High School Golf Coaches Association Player of the Year after posting a 72.8 scoring average… that same year, led the Commandos to a third-place finish at the 2008 State Tournament… as a senior, finished 15th at State Tournament and Commandos earned a second-place team finish… also played in the Tennessee State Amateur and finished 10th at the Tennessee Junior Amateur.

Personal: Son of former Govs golfer Harry and Beth Tarpley... born July 15, 1992... plans to major in business.
